Let’s be real about work. It can be exciting on some days. It can also be exhausting and challenging on other days when you’re at the end of your rope. How do you handle those days? Will you “fake it” or “make it”?
GIG Design shares ideas on how to “make it”. Moods and feelings cannot be faked while being productive. This topic hits close to hard -working hearts. How do you identify the reason your irritated at work? It might be your colleague tapping their pencil while you’re attempting to focus on a deadline. Feeling confident eases tension. How do you become confident and at ease?
Communication can be effective without manipulation . Establish respect by stating expectations like, “End of quarter work requires me to be at my desk, free from audible distractions”. Offer choices such as, “I need four hours of quiet time while I’m at my desk. What time of day is your most quiet time?”. Describe expectations including, “We share this cubicle. We are a great team because we respect one another’s needs to remain productive.”
Use alternative ways to communicate your mood. Instead of random art or decorative office decor furnish your space to communicate your mood. Ongoing research proves physical elements of the immediate environment will carry out personal goals.
What comforts you? What alerts you? Our advice is “make it” or “create it”. Do not “fake it”.
