The Menlo Partners Staffing Inc. Difference
Our mission is to work with people in a meaningful and collaborative way. We build value, advance careers, and develop lasting relationships.
We approach each job seeker with a transparent presentation on our employers. You’ll know exactly where your resume is being represented at all times. In exchange we expect transparency about your interest level, interview pipeline and potential offers.
Many job seekers are experts in their field of employment but may not be experts at writing a resume, interviewing or sharing their story in a compelling way. When we submit you, we personally present your skills and represent “you” directly to hiring managers, filling in the blanks well beyond a key word search matched to a resume. We conduct an interactive Q&A session with our hiring managers to overcome any questions or concerns they may have about the “paper” in order to advocate on your behalf.
Our focus is more than simply matching skills and experience. We are committed to putting people into jobs (and companies) where they will thrive. Post interview we expect candid feedback on how the opportunity matches your career desires, how it compares to other opportunities in your pipeline and whether you see yourself working there for the long term.
Please refer to our FAQ to view the positions we fill and our success rate for applicants changing careers. If everything aligns, please apply online to submit your resume and start the process.
The first step to discovering your job search criteria. We will ask about your interests according to role, industry, size of company, salary requirements, commute parameters etc. in order to create your profile.
Presentation of a job opportunity
We firmly believe your recruiting partner should add value by sharing information beyond what you can find off a company’s website and posted job description. Upon engagement with an employer we gather information about their company, department and role and know exactly WHY you want to work there. During this conversation we will share this information and allow you to conduct online research.
Menlo Partners Interview
Matching you with the best opportunity requires much more than just reading a resume or a job description. We invest the time to learn about your goals and aspirations, as well as your background and qualifications. In order to do this a Menlo Partners Recruiter will interview you prior to presenting your background to one of our employers. We will ask you to share your successes on the job, strengths as an applicant and dive into your work history in depth. Expect to spend 45 minutes to an hour with us. This is non-negotiable and an expected piece of the process from our hiring partners.
Typically we handle all interview coordination on behalf of our employers. We will confirm onsite appointments, handle logistics (NDA and paperwork flow) and conduct interview preparation calls with you prior to your meeting. We want to make sure you walk into your interview feeling informed and prepared.
During our many conversations prior to your offer of employment we expect you to openly share compensation and acceptance criteria with us. We know ahead of time what our employer’s budgets and constraints are. We take the strain of negotiation off your plate and handle this for you. We don’t waste time with salary counter offers or want you take something full circle that won’t meet your needs. Our employers are asked to put their best and final offer forward out of the gate.
On-boarding follow up and follow through
We will check in with you and your employer over the course of your first 90 days on the job to make sure everyone is happy.
We hear it all the time, job applicants feel online job boards and web postings, and even the big recruiting agencies, make applying for positions feel like a falling into a black hole of non-response. We understand the excitement that goes along with pursuing a new opportunity; excitement that turns into anxiety when days and weeks pass without news. We’re in constant contact with our clients, and we’re dedicated to providing you with timely feedback to help you work through the process on any resume submittal or face to face interview. We promise to always close the loop on any opportunity we present to you.
